FIRST REFORMED CHURCH | Sheldon, IA

Building God's Kingdom One Life At A Time

Are You New or a Guest?

Welcome to First Reformed Church of Sheldon, IA!  We are glad you are interested in visiting us!  Here is a little information to help you when you visit our church campus.

At some point, most of us encounter situations that lead us to ask the question, "Why?"  Those difficult times feel very uncertain, and we reach out to the hand of a friend.  At Sheldon First Reformed Church, we don't know all the answers but we know the One who does.  We are more than a building - we are here for support, growth and encouragement during both the times of questioning and rejoicing.  We invite you to join us on this journey as we serve each other in His Love.

We offer a wide range of activities and fellowship for the whole family!

Can you give me directions to First Reformed Church?

When do I arrive and what services are offered?

Do you have a nursery for my small children?
Yes, First Reformed Church has nursery for children ages 6 months to 3 years old.  The church nursery is located in the basement of the church.  It is available during all worship services, and also during the Sunday School hour.

This is a secure place for your child.  Each parent signs their children in, and labels the child and belongings.  There is a pager system that is given to each parent so that they will be notified immediately if they are needed.

Where do I park?
Parking is available on the north and west sides of the church campus. Handicap parking spaces are available in both parking lots.  However, please be advised that the west side door into the church is not wheelchair accessible, so if that is needed, it is better to park in the north parking lot.

The east side of the church has a driveway that may be used to drop people off at the front doors.  In the winter, this driveway also has valet services, and someone will park the car for you if you need assistance.

What education opportunites does First Reformed Church have for my family?

Can I visit with the pastor, and how do I contact him?
Yes, our senior pastor would love to visit with you. Whether it be a short introduction after church, a phone call, or a more in-depth visit at a time that works best for you, they are available to you!  Whether you have a personal concern, question about what you heard in the service, or just to introduce yourself, they want to hear from you!  You are important!

Please contact the church office (712-324-2130) if you want to talk with him, or find them after any service on Sunday mornings.  His door is always open!
