When God's people develop their faith through Christian education and discipleship, they are energized to live as disciples, to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and live out their callings.

Although Godly instruction of a child is primarily the parent’s responsibility, Christian education at the local church works in partnership with parents, providing opportunities for discipleship and encouragement.

It is the responsibility of the Christian education department of the local church to provide scripturally accurate instruction, to lead people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to help individuals discover and use their talents for His service.
