As a native Iowan, Pastor Paul grew up on a small farm two miles west of Kellogg, a little town in Central Iowa 40 miles east of Des Moines. While studying Engineering at the University of Iowa and with one semester left, God called him to be a pastor. Paul is married to his high school sweetheart, Courtney, and the Lord has blessed them four daughters and one son. Pastor Paul's role as Senior Pastor is to provide organizational and ministry oversight and serve as primary preacher/teacher while serving on the Executive Team and leading with the Consistory. He began serving with First Reformed Church in August 2014.

Caitie grew up in central Iowa before moving to NW Iowa for college. She graduated from Dordt University in 2020 with a degree in Youth Ministry and joined our team soon after in July. She has been in youth ministry in various capacities for over 6 years. For Caitie, youth ministry is not only a passion but also a calling. Caitie brings a fun attitude with a healthy level of chaos to our team. In her free time Caitie enjoys puzzles, playing games with friends, traveling to national parks, and visiting coffee shops.

Wendy has served as the church Administrative Assistant since 2018. Wendy & Tim have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Deb Zebedee is serving as a part-time custodian. Deb has 2 children - Casey & Alex and 2 grandkids - Wyatt & Rayna.
