What To Expect

First Reformed Church is located on the corner of Washington Ave and 7th St in Sheldon.

Worship at FRC begins at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings.  Come through the doors off of Washington Ave and someone will be there to greet you.

Parking is available on the north and west sides of the church building. Handicap parking spaces are available in both parking lots.  However, please be advised that the west side door into the church is not wheelchair accessible, so if that is needed, it is better to park in the north parking lot (the lot closest to Washington Ave).

The east side of the building has a driveway that you can use to drop people off at the front doors.  In the winter, you can use this driveway for valet parking by one of our team or additional help should you or your party need assistance.

At FRC children are a priority.  Childcare for children 6 months to 3 years old is available during worship and after during the discipleship hour. Our Nursery is right at the bottom of the stairwell off the back of the sanctuary.  One of our team members at the Welcome Table will help you should you need assistance.  If you would like to stay with your child while they let our a little energy, the worship service is playing on the screen in both the Nursery and Fellowship Hall.

If your children are four years old to kindergarten, they may attend Children and Worship. One of the upfront leaders up front will dismiss the children to join their teacher at the back of the sanctuary right before the message. You can pick them up in Room 21 in the basement after the service.

Yes, Pastor Paul or any of our staff would enjoy visiting with you.  That conversation can be a short introduction after worship, a phone call, or a more in-depth visit at a time that works best for you.  You can come with a personal concern, question about what you heard in the service, information about FRC, or just to introduce yourself.  They want to hear from you.

If you want to talk with Pastor Paul, please contact the church office (712-324-2130), fill out a connection card at the bottom of this page, or find him after any service on Sunday mornings.  His door is always open!
